Jerry, Bingo!!! I was wondering if anyone was going to bring this up. A valve will warp whether it is from burning diesel or from gasoline. I would caution anyone who is running straight pipes and pulling hard, to definitely let the thing idle for a minute or two to cool the valves before shutting down. Everything is fine as long as the engine is running, but after shutdown, if the outside air temp/wind is just right, that cold air coming back up that pipe and hitting that near 2000-degree valve can cause a stem to ‘pull’ if it is hanging open. It is a good idea to let ‘em idle a few minutes prior to shutdown, even with a muffler installed. Just a thought, Allan
