Greasy John; I did the same thing you're doing when I split our 300U, I kept prying and I cracked the TA housing. There's a bolt that is under the bottom plate, the bolt is bottom center going back to the tranny. You don't know it's there unless you pull the bottom plate. It's the same plate that the seasonal disconnect is on but I don't think the 350 has a disconnect. What made matters worse in my mind was that I had split our 400 3 years before and forgot about that bolt. I will remember that bolt forever now, a used TA Housing cost $250.00 + shipping. May I ask why you are splitting your 350? If it's to work on the TA I believe that you have to double split to get the TA out.
