I was down at the local barbershop thursday and the barber handed me a printout from an article in Mother Earth News where a fellow built a tractor out of a Dodge truck front end and two 4 speed transmissions. It went on describing it and toward the end of the article it said it was capable of speeds of 80 mph. Didn't say whether the owner tried it, had 28" tractor tires on the back which I thought to myself "damned if I'd try it on those"! (designed for not over probably 20 mph) It may be on their website if you type in Mother Earth News in a search engine. Fred OH
