About every 3 years on my snowblower, I have to redo the primer line connection at the carb. because of softening of the rubber hose due to using ethanol gasoline. The primer fitting is just a short nipple that the hose slides on. I've had my snowblower for 23 years, and this seems to be the only negative effect of ethanol.
