Since they posted a photo add to begin with and have internet access, it's best to ask for more pictures of different parts/angles of the tractor. You still can't hear the engine or transmission or drive it unless you go see it but it's at least some more data to help you decide. One group selling on this site even has video clips of the running tractor for people to download to help them get an idea of what the engine sound like.
