If the tractor has an electrical shut off and not the pull rod.Listen and or feel the fuel pump when the key is turned on or off. Shut off solenoids are a common problem with this pump. You should be able to hear or feel the fuel solenoid click. If not the solenoid is bad. For a temporary fix, the solenoid can be removed, the plunger and spring taken out and the solenoid reinstalled. You will have to stall the tractor to shut it off. Parts are available to repair this pump, but are hard to come by.Some of the larger rebuilders may have NOS parts in stock, don't limit yourself to Deere.
