Yes Nicholous I did some years ago it was a cabinet made of steel and welded, the problems I encounterd were the sand getting contaminated quickly, dust extraction, getting enough light into the unit to see the work as it clouded up when cleaning metal (rusty)and getting a good seal on the side loading door. My cabinet would easily hold two VW Beetle wings or if you like two people sitting inside so it was large, my compressor was the largest I could get in the UK using a single phase motor but Ive forgotton its capacity although I can find out.Prof.
