At our show when we have both shafts turning the
same direction, we twist the belt twice instead
of leaving it untwisted. I think we had to do this when we belted my Farmall regular to an IHC baler. We could have ran the belt to the back of the tractor, but I would have had to drop the drawbar. I don't know for sure if this is correct but it seems to work better. I
don't know who started us doing this, but it was probably handed down from old timers.
