Well, I have been told that a "G" JD under a heavy load will burn 7 Gallons of Gas an hour...!!
I KNOW that a "70" Gas in our field burned that much..!!
Now, our AC WD-45's averaged 1 1/3 gallons per Acre with 4-14" semi-mounted Plows, or in a 16 hour day plowing would go thru about 35 gallons each..NOT BAD..
How many tractors of 85 horse power will pull an 8 Bottom plow..???? NONE..
Compact versatile and powerful, it was a HUGE Milestone in tractor development...!!
When they were manufactured, they couldn't make them fast enough to keep up with demand...
I like Both shades of Green, and Trucks are Red, But---the King is Orange....!!!
My Vote is for the AC...!!!!
