I have some connected lug 10-38s on my Case SC. I bought them with some cracks 8 years ago so I don't know how old they are but I'm guessing they are at least 40 plus by the tread design. I wanted the 10-38 size because that was the original size on this tractor. The cracks aren't much worse than when I put them on but I'm leary about them failing when I'm going down the road at 10 MPH on pavement or if I'm pulling a hay wagon full of kids which I hope to be doing next year. The cracks aren't to the point where I can see the tube but one or two are getting close. Two questions: 1. Is there a safety concern if one goes suddenly, or do they just loose thier shape and fail gracfully. 2. Does any tire manufacturer carry the old style tread design in a 10-38? Horror stories welcome. Thanks
