I could have written what you just said and I've been showing for 20 years. I was really into it at first and so was my wife but as time went on it seems that we enjoy it less. I believe I can get along with most and like all brands but in my area its acontest to see who can get the biggest motorhome or fifth wheel and largest shade canopy. When the sun gets high they all get in their clicks and pretend your're not there. If your a new comer you don't fit in. I only feel welcome if I bring something thats especially interesting and I only have one like that. Sorry if I sound like a downer but after all this time I have not had one local person invite me over for a beer and I am always extending my hospitality. I have been restoring for 20 years and I don't have one good friend in this hobby. Oh sure we all visit, but when the guy with more or shinier than me shows up they walk away in mid sentence. Thanks I think I needed this.
