I'm 6'2" and in smaller cars I have to lean the seat back a ways or I'm eating the windshield. With the seat back, the shoulder straps hang across my face. Yea, that's safe. When did "seat belts" and "seat belts with shoulder straps" become one and the same ? I'd rather have the police and sherifs finding the meth cookers and thieves than bugging otherwise law-abiding decent people about their stupid friggin' belts. jmho
