Massey Ferguson 35, 135, 50, 65, 165

I have been looking for a good utility tractor and have narrowed in on the mf 35 or 135. I am, however, confused with the pros and cons between these two series. Other that the obvious of the 135 model being newer and more expensive.

As I have been searching, the mf 50 often catches my eye as does the 65 and 165. These tractors all seem very similar to the 35/135 models.

What my big questions is, why are there so many models that overlap in year. Are there functionality differences. Horse power differences? Size differences?

I definately wont be plowing 50 acres with it but I can see working a little bit of land, mowing, auger, and general misc. Which tractor would best be suited?
