O. T. Need advice on Directway Satellite interne

Have had a multitude of minor episodes of trouble and some major ones too. Was wondering how many other people have the Directway 2 way satellite internet system that both sends and recieves via satellite. we have been on the telephone endless numbers of times and the end result is that the computer system will have to be shut down, and then we have to unplug the power cord to the satellite send/recieve box that acts as the modem. They even told us one day to switch ends on the multi-pin plug between the send/recieve unit and then it began to work again This is usually a daily thing and is usually necessary to the extent that some times it will completely keep the internet from being recieved. Wife had a long discussion with them today after it happened and they are telling her it sounds like we need to have it grounded? We have a known good grounded electricak system, use 3 prong grounded receptacles and surge protectors and have a uninterruptible power supply that feeds the computer systems. Are they saying to ground the coax from the reciever dish to dissipate static electricity? Do not see any where that the coax appears to be grounded and this is getting to be almost aggrevaring enough to cause a desire for a dial up modem again!!! Help in the form of advice would be appreciated if anybody has run into this before. This is the 400 series system. Many thanks. Gene Davis
