I've got a semi "pig in the poke" MF 30 backhoe that has'nt run since the day after I bought it. Now I suppose the tractor would be simpler to fix up but I can say that, compared to other tractor dealers, the Massey dealers seemed to care less about not having any or finding any parts for the older tractors. MF 30s around here are advertised from $2,800 to 3,200 in decent working shape. For a true unknown figure the cost of a rebuilt engine and subtract at least that much to know what to pay.
