I doubt that open sides would make too much difference either. Heat rises, and if there's a roof it's going to catch it. Probably make some difference, but I doubt if it would be enough. For anyone that is keeping motorised equipment inside, the single best thign you can do is install a battery ground disconnect switch on every vehicle, and use it. Shut the power off when it's inside or not in use. It at least cuts down on one ignition source, and the most common accidental one at that... Rod
