Hi Ron, Greatings from Farmington :o). The AM2787-19 is a casting number for the rear final drive housings. My '42B has the same numbers on it. Sure sounds like yours is an AC Model B, a great little tractor. Look up adjacent to the shift lever just to the left on the transmission housing. You should find a tractor serial number that is stamped not cast. You may have to use a wire brush to remove some paint or rust to be able to see it. If there is a number like B58812, then that would confirm that it is an AC Model B. The B58812 is the number of my B so if yours is a '44, it would be a little higher numerically but would have the "B" prefix.
