I remember when my Father was working for a small town IHC dealership in the 1950's, and a local farmer traded in a working Rumley Oil Pull on a new WD9. It was my Dad's job to cut that Rumley up for scrap. The dealer never even tried to sell it on his lot. I can still hear that big flywheel hitting the ground when it was cut off! That same little town talked for 6 months after another local farmer bought 2 new JD R Diesels at the same time. Everybody said that he would go broke, and lose the farm. There was no way anybody could buy two big tractors like that, and stay solvent! They were wrong...
