I bought a 2n!

Hey all!
I just purchased a 2n. This is my first tractor and was wondering what you all think of them. Is there a way I can verify the model year. My next purchase for this tractor is a 5 ft. brush hog.
What maintance should be done on a regular basis. For example when should I change the oil? How about the rear end fluid. Is the air filter in a oil bath? Do you guys recommend the 12 volt conversion, can I use 12 volt lights on a six volt system? I take delivery of the tractor monday. Its being delivered.
