Like Red Dave says the even-firing Titan has a steady exhaust beat - as opposed to the JD's staccato exhaust sound. However since both crank throws are together on the same side of the crankshaft, the 2 cylinder Titan engines are poorly balanced. Thus the tractors SHAKE & VIBRATE like no other I've ever seen! There's still some running Titans still out there - not unusual to see/hear one or two of 'em at larger old iron shows.
