I'd go with a 5th wheel or goose kneck. I've hauled tractors that size on car haulers and they work ok but thats all you can put on it. As far as brakes both have good and bad points, my self I wish they made a set up for air brakes but so far haven't seen them, but maybe I'll just have to make it LOL. My $.02 worth
