If you are saying, there wasn't a good flow before, then your problem is likely that the carb jets need attention as well as the float bowl etc. You are tight on information. Like the condition they were in before you cleaned them. Like is there good fuel flow from the carb drain immediately after it shuts off. Like what brought this on - standing over winter, or over one run or over the past 6 months running. I would suggest you give it, or get someone to do, a good service. You should then know if everything is in specification or not. I would also suspect the ignition system Regards, RAB
