John, I saw a 154 at a service station a little while ago so I stopped and looked at it to refresh my memory. The center fill/level plug just below the PTO in the center rear of the tractor is at a higher level than the plugs in the drop housings. The Hi-Tran should be full to the level of this center plug. I still believe that there are passage holes for the fluid from the center housing to the drop housings, but just to be sure, take out the plugs on the drop housings to be sure they are full of Hi-Tran also.
