A 544 gas is rated about 52hp a 560D 63hp, I had a 544 gas once they like gas a 560D will use a bout 1/2 as much fuel. A 656D also 63hp would be a better choice in my opinion. I have a 460D almost the same as 560D eng. same block longer stroke. No 2 a 544 gas is not a sleeved engine. must be bored when OH. 656 could get 3point 560 is 2 point. Any Diesel you should have a block heater and keep the starter and batterys in top shape and they will start in winter and not be cold natured like a gas once they start, although a Diesel will not run at its max. until warmed up to operationing temp.
