The top link length adjusts the cutting height.
Also the back roller on most have bolts with different holes to gain more adjustments.
I think you will like those flail mowers as they don't throw stuff or get as busted up when hitting objects plus you can do finish type mowing as well as cut down high stuff if you have enough horsepower.
