Not that it will change the situation, but this boss, is/was a wrench himself, or just the money man? The best hands on people seem to lose their minds (forget their roots) when they get put in front of the ledger (bottom dollar). A hostile work environment isn't good for anyone, especially you. You could ask to meet with him, and the meeting could turn out good, or very badly, especially if he has an anti-you agenda. It would be a great idea to get your resume together, and either use satisfied customers and co-workers that you can trust as references. Typically, resumes say "References Upon Request". Can they contact your current employer? Tough question, especially if he has an "anti-you" agenda - you could get smoked. Could he be hiring additional help because sales/service/customer base has increased, and this new person will only be an addition to the talent? The best advise that I can give you, or anyone is simple, Confidence in yourself: If that guy can do it, it can be done, so you can too, at anything, and with some practice, not only can you do it, but you can do it better. Confidence, confidence, and self assurance. Good luck, Mark.IN.

My dad dreamed that some day he would have his own tractor with every implement he could get. When he rea
