Worked on a 300 for a friend once but don't remember the fluid fill access ports. When you said fill till it runs out, I want to clarify something for your benefit. If you have a fill port on the side of the main tractor housing and it is just below the centerline of the rear axles then what you said is probably true. (Course that would make filling awkward.) But if your fill port is on top of the housing, you have a full plug somewhere along the side of the housing that is approximately just below the center line of the rear axle. Gear trains and hydraulic systems(of which I am aware) do not run completely full of fluid. A power steering pump might run pretty close to full, but not the main tractor sumps, nor cars, nor trucks.
