Hey guys, I know that this has nothing to do with tractors but I am getting an itch for some snow, I know some of you guys are saying---what are you smoking. But I like winter, almost as much as summer and I havent rode a snowmobile since I was a kid, I think I was about 13 I am now 35. If I were to look at getting a used sled what should I look for as far as wear and tear and if I get a 500cc engine vs. a 700cc engine what is the real difference between the two, just top end, off from dead stop are both. How safe are snowmobiles? I started thinking about sleds a week ago when an engineer I work with interviewed with Polaris two years ago and he just told me last week. And of course we discussed his trip up to northern Mich. last winter and he rented two Arctic cats.
