rear wheel bearing grease ports

I have a 1956 or 7 Massey Ferguson F-40. I am trying
to grease the rear wheel bearings but cannot find a
grease port. There is a counter-sunk depression on
the outside wheel center but there does not appear to
be an opening. Does the wheel need to be removed?
Ideas?
