Get the thing to a shop and get it apart and make sure. Another word of warning, do not treat this tractor like a 100 hp tractor. You've got 100 hp ahead of a 60 hp drive line and it will not stand sustained heavy treatment, the drive line that is. It's too bad, I've had a few Leylands and I liked them, but I was warned off this model by an old time Nuffield and Leyland guy. Get the clutch and tranny squared away, treat it like it was 65 or 70 horse and it will run for a long time. Great engine. Good Luck.
