I concur!!! I switched out a 2wd pickup to a 4 x 4 by locating and buying a frame that already had the front axle mounted, and had the location for the transfer case... I ended up re-engineering and fabricating nearly everything on the truck, and in the process, used up valuable time that I would rather have spent doing something enjoyable. The truck turned out very well, and I drove it for a number of years... but in looking back, I realize I would have been MUCH better off to sell the 2wd truck and buy the 4x4 of my dreams! Think of all the time I could'a been fishin!!!
