So you're saying you have to post a message, even if it is a useless one, just to reserve a user name that you might use when you are ready to post something of signifcance in the future? Why don't they just let you register your name without posting a B.S. message? Anyways, this name registration process should go a long ways in reducing some of the problems that have been alluded to here. I remember a few years ago registration was a dirty word on this site and some posters were strongly opposed to it, so now we are easing into it. Well, we can see it is a necessary evil and most other sites likes agriculture.com now require registration before you can post.
