Yes. But, can the lady prove ownership????? Does she have proof of ownership? Hard to claim possesion when it's on someone else's land for so long.... In a story like this, a sheriff is going to act _real_ slowly........ They can read between the lines. Assuming this fellow has a bill of sale. He can get dragged down, but only if the sheriff happens to be the old lady's nephew or something. ;) I agree advise here or any discussion forum is worth what you pay for it or less, from any of us. But sounds like he looking more to vent, than to get legal pointers. --->Paul
