What Leroy said about production years... (IF it"s an 8N it"s between 1947 and 1952). If it"s got an auxillary transmission with the shifter on the right side of the housing, then it"s probably a Hupp (which is a bit less common that the Shermans). You can go to the Smith"s website for full identification hints. HTH... Steve
