You should have made him a deal, take the tires and the metal. It's amazing how tires and batteries collect, At last count we have around 50 old batteries, and who knows how many tires to get rid of. I guess I will end up paying to get rid of them. Years ago we had our own dump, now there are houses on top of it. Good luck with your tires, I don't think there is a legal way to get rid tires free anymore
