Years ago when I worked at a dealer they would not let us get parts for warranty work from another dealer they made us order them. Warranty will not pay the extra dealers fees.
If one dealer buys a part from another dealer he pays more for it than if he had ordered it from the factory. It is a stocking or shelf cost.
Your dealer is in a turf war and will not support the other in any way.
At least that’s the way it was when I worked for one.
