Mornin' JT, He is out on time, unless that engine was just replaced within the past year. True, Ford has one of the best warranties in the business, but they will only go so far and then they will pull down the curtain. Also, Ford sent a letter to whoever owned that truck at the time of the update (which was early '99, if I remember right). Somebody just didn't get the modification done, and I really doubt if Ford is going to spring for a new engine at this late date. Further, Todd has really been caught between the cracks on this one. Someone, somewhere, should have caught that air cleaner update. Every time the truck went in for service, that serial number would have been setting off bells, waving red flags and screamin’ for attention at that service department. Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned.
