Howdy Allan, I'm going to break this question down into several parts. Part 1. How much would I give for a 966? I'll answer this question with a question. Is it painted GREEN? Part 2. How much is a 966 worth? Being a big fan of the --66 series IH tractors, I'm a bit biased. They sell at a low price around here. I don't know why, other than the fact we have no Case/IH dealer with-in 50 miles. (I've always wanted a 1066) They sell at auction for $4000 to $5500 depending on condition. I don't remember the last 966 I saw around here. If it's in good condition, and the motor is fresh, I'd say around $5500 to $6000 wouldn't be too far out of line. I'm not the consumate authority on IH tractors though. I'll do some "asking around". I know just who to ask. I'll get back with you on this. Have a good'un, John
