I have a 99 F-350 with the 7.3 turbo powerstroke, the worst I got was 17 going to jury duty in town, and it goes between 20 and 22 on the open road, diesel was 2.07 last time I filled up and I doubt it will go down for a while, I love the truck so much that I plan to have another one after this one getts tired, but I have to say that diesel engines sure have changed over the years, there are more sensors on this one than I ever remember on any of the old ones..
