It was an interesting comment you made about changing both bulbs at the same time. Maybe that's why I burn up the standard ones too. The electronic ones light in cold weather. The farm house has wood heat and intermittent occupancy. The shop has wood heat I'm afraid to use. It gets cold in the MO-zarks. Unless I go high end, Grainger, my suppliers seem only to carry the cheap models. Probably I'm getting what I pay for. I hate to pay for more than I'm getting too. I think paying too much is about as easy to do as paying too little. Do you have a brand or a supplier you like? Or do you just get whatever they got in the pile in the middle of the aisle at HD, Wally's, or Lowes? What's do you give for a fixture that works but don't need to look purdy?
