What I am looking for is correlation between cylinder bore size and rod Dia. without piston. I would like to replace single acting cylinder, 1.50 bore (25,000/year)
with hydraulic Ram (rod displacement cylinder), assuming potential cost savings due to design simplification. Is any special seals and wear rings are required ?
