It seems to me that it's going to be quite obvious when they tear down the engine whether it's sludged up or not. All the receipts in the world aren't going to change the dealer's mind if there's a half inch of sludge inside the valve covers. I guess I'm a little baffled as to why you would consider buying a vehicle with a known problem this serious. By the way, it's not just Chrysler: I hear some of the older Nissans had this same problem; miss an oil change and you just bought an engine.
