Allan, mines on backards so most of the limbs will not tear it off. This reminds me of one I haven't thought about in years. We had cotton packer mounted on a 4-post 4440 several years back. We removed the cap and wired a wad of screen out of a screen door over the stack, to retard any sparks. Every night, we'd throw a 5 gallon bucket over the screen to keep out any rain. One morning several of us were standing around a pickup, eating a snack and carrying on about how goofy one of the guys was. He laughed right along with us and walked off to fire up the 4440. We just happened to be looking his way as he checked all the fluids, and fired the tractor up. You know how them John Deeres rev up real high when you start 'em, well, he'd forgot to remove the bucket. Big 'ol pile of black smoke came boilin out from under that bucket and just seemed to hang under the canopy for a minute! Whole bunch of us just fell out laughing! I laughed 'til my sides hurt! Never will forget that! Mitch
