Howdy folks, I took a quick photo of our farm the other day when I got the pic of my R with the wood splitter. So, I thought I'd share that too. The white barn is our hay barn. It also houses the tractors and some other equipment. The older barn in the photo is our tobacco barn. It used to be a hay barn for loose hay. It houses all the old machinery (corn binder, shredder, thresher, drills, etc.) The small building too its right is where the corn picker stands. It used to be a corn crib. There is one more field to the right of the picture that can't be seen. Good old Southern Ohio farmland. Sits right on top of a hill and has plenty of good red dirt drag the plows down. Also close to bedrock in places so we do bend and break some plowshares. But it's a blessing to work this land in West Union, OH. God bless. --old fashioned farmer
