cbox, An old-fashioned mechanics test is to take a screwdriwer (hopefully, with a WELL INSULATED handle), and short out the spark to ground at each spark plug, one at a time. When you short out the spark to the cylinder(s) that is missing, there will be NO change in engine RPM's or exhaust sound. Once you locate the cylinder(s) giving the problem, you can check for problems. DISCLAIMER: Do this at your own risk of shock, and all consequences thereof! Be carefull. If you get "zapped", a hand or elbow may jerk and make contact with HOT or moving parts!
