The serial number is in the valid range for the 1955 production year. Power steering became optional in April 1954. Rowcrops of that era had a round front axle stuck out in front of the tractor looking like an after thought like the Oliver's did. The later square wide row crops put the front axle under the tractor like the standard but using a different design. Is that front a Deere or after market like a Swartz or something? I'll have to look in the parts CD another night when not so late. There will be some clues to see if it's a parts tractor built from the remains of other scrapped tractors. Or mostly origional?
