i'm guessing you drive a ford product? ford 5w20 synthetic blend has been out for about three years now. they recommend it in every motor except the 4.0L in rangers and explorers all the way back to '93. i don't agree with ford on that. if your vehicle is newer(around '97-'98 and up), use it. the newer motors have such tight tolerences oil doesn't always reach the right parts. dodge also came out with 5w20 on their new 300c, magnum and caravans ('05). just my experiance from working for a ford/dodge dealer for the last five years. casey in SD
