Deutz powered Chevy pick up truck

I have a 1979 Chevrolet 3/4 ton 4X4 pick up with F5L912 Deutz diesel engine for a power plant. The truck body suffers from typical cancer of that era, but the chassis is in good shape. It has a 3 speed trans with a granny gear and a gear driven transfer case. The fuel economy is excellent. Its not the fastest truck in the world but the torque is nothing short of massive. On 5 year old fuel it pulled a 6" in diameter mulberry tree out without touching the fuel. If anyone has any info or would like to know more about it please let me know. Thank you
