on your 10 si delco alternator if you will use 1770 se regulator inside the alternator you will only need to use a battery wire it is a self exciting regulator i build them all the time for tractors alot of your parts stores have what they call a one wire alternator good luck

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
