A neighbor let me use his 125 H.P. Duetz. Size is stated because I do not remember the model. After four or five hours use the clutch would not release. The problem was that the throw out bearing went and wore down the clutch fork. It was a $1000 repair including pickup and delivery. Neighbor did not blame me because it was obvious what had happened but I was apprehensive until I found out the reason for the failure. Later at a farm sale I saw a larger Duetz sell. There was a decal by a zerk near the clutch housing indicating hi-temp grease was required for that the throw out bearing. (I have used Mobile synthetic grease with a temp range of -40F to +450, in other applications.) Neighbor did not know anything about the hi-temp requirement. Can you Duetz people shead any light on a hi-temp grease requirment for the clutch bearing.
